Ragini MMS is a 2011 Bollywood horror-thriller film. The film revolves around the video footage of a girl named Ragini. It has been directed by Pawan Kripalani and produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor of Balaji Telefilms, who produced critically acclaimed hits Love Sex aur Dhokha and Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai. It was released on 13 May 2011.

Story
Ragini MMS is a sensuous paranormal film, shot as if in real time!
The quintessential couple, Ragini and Uday, set out to have a dirty weekend at a friend’s farmhouse on the outskirts of Mumbai. The weekend getaway quickly changes gears as they find themselves in a house that has been rigged with cameras in Bigg Boss style.

The cameras that were meant to capture love-making are witness to something that is beyond the realm of human understanding…something metaphysical….

Within the confines of this house, Ragini and Uday are now at the mercy of an unexplainable paranormal force. With sundown approaching, what will the new entrants of the house do?

Production
The film was originally titled Raginni MMS but a numerologist advised Ekta Kapoor to change it to Ragini MMS. The film took only 25 days to shoot.

Lawsuit
Deepika, a girl from Delhi, on whom the film is partly based, has filed a lawsuit on producer Ekta Kapoor. Deepika claims that, according to her contract, Ekta would show her the film before its premiere to ensure Deepika was not picturised in a negative light. However, after many days, Deepika had still not seen the film and Ekta had been avoiding her phone calls. With Ekta not speaking the truth in public, Deepika has the feeling that people might think that even the intimate scenes were of her as well.

SoundTrack
The music is composed by S. D. Burman, Shamir Tandon, Faizan Hussain, Agnel Roman, and Bappi Lahiri. The soundtrack for the film was released on April 19, 2011. It consists of only four songs, including the hit song “Raat Akeli Hai” from the 1967 film, Jewel Thief.

With all the failed attempts by Indian directors to make an enjoyable, all-encompassing, “masala” entertainer, it’s refreshing to see one filmmaker finally get things more right than wrong.  Harry Baweja’s “Qayamat” isn’t a great film, but it’s definitely an enthralling and enjoyable one with enough frivolous fun to satiate any need for mindless entertainment.

“Qayamat” steals its premise from Micheal Bay’s Hollywood offering, “The Rock,” but adds a couple of twists to the plot. A group of demented arms traffickers Abbas (Sanjay Kapoor), Ali (Arbaaz Khan), and Laila (Isha Koppikar), hijack a maximum security prison just outside of the heart of Mumbai. They put forth an ultimatum to the Indian government, and threaten to launch a missile containing a deadly virus strain on Mumbai if their demands aren’t met.

The government deploys CBI officer Akram Sheikh (Suneil Shetty) to diffuse the situation, but Sheikh quickly realizes that he won’t be able to infiltrate the prison. In order to accomplish this goal, he will need the assistance of an ex-con, Rachit (Ajay Devgan). While Sheikh works on convincing Rachit to help, a scientist (Aashish Chowdhry) works on a vaccine to disarm the virus strain. How the entire situation is resolved forms the climax of this joy ride of a film.

“Qayamat” offers a thrill ride worth taking. Whether it’s the silly dramatics, the ludicrous action, or the eye-catching visuals, there’s just something about this film’s presentation that makes it undeniably entertaining. As long as you don’t take it seriously, there’s a lot of fun to be had watching this musical love story set against the backdrop of a biological weapons threat against a densely populated city.

Yeh Saali Zindagi (Hindi: ये साली ज़िन्दगी) is a 2011 Hindi romantic drama film directed by Sudhir Mishra and starring Irrfan Khan, Arunoday Singh, Chitrangda Singh and Aditi Rao Hydari. The film was released on February 4, 2011.

Gangsters kidnap the prospective son-in-law of a politician in order to secure the release of an imprisoned gang-member. Starting with multiple backgrounds; slowly all the characters get enmeshed in a single story track of kidnapping and ransom. After Bade falls out of favor of Member of Parliament, Verma, he is arrested, held in a cell without any trial, and is humiliated and beaten everyday. His brother Chhotte and others conspire to secure his release by kidnapping Verma’s to-be son-in-law, Shyam Singhania. Things do not go exactly as planned and Priti, Shyam’s girlfriend, also gets abducted. In order to ensure Shyam’s safety, she agrees to liaise between Verma and the gangsters – not knowing that she has an admirer who will do anything for her. She meets with Shyam’s father as well as Verma but may end up endangering everyone’s lives especially after Verma makes it clear that he will not negotiate Bade’s release under any circumstance.

Acclaimed Bollywood choreographer Farah Khan (Dilwale Dulhania le Jayenge, Monsoon Wedding) makes her directorial debut with Main Hoon Na, a mix of action, comedy, and romance. Shah Rukh Khan (Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham…) stars as Ram, a straight-laced action hero and major in the Indian army. When General Bakshi (Kabir Bedi) proposes a plan to release 50 harmless Pakistani POWs as a gesture of goodwill, he draws the ire of terrorist Raghavan (Sunil Shetty), a former army officer with a deep-seated hatred of the Pakistanis. Raghavan and his well-trained crew invade a television studio where the general is being interviewed, despite the efforts of Ram’s father, Shekhar (Naseeruddin Shah of Monsoon Wedding), who is Bakshi’s head of security. Ram intercedes and nearly captures the masked terrorist, but Shekhar is killed trying to protect Bakshi. With his dying words, he tells Ram his shameful secret. Shekhar was never married to Ram’s late mother. Shekhar’s wife and son left him when Ram, his illegitimate son, came to live in their home. Shekhar’s dying wish is to have their forgiveness. Ram gets an opportunity to look for his long-lost stepbrother when General Bakshi assigns him to guard his estranged daughter, Sanjana (Amrita Rao), who goes to the same college as Ram’s stepbrother. In order to stay close to Sanjana, Ram has to pose as a student. Being much older and far more conservative than most of the students, Ram immediately stands out, and is mercilessly mocked by the coolest guy on campus, Lucky (Zayed Khan). Sanjana wants nothing to do with him, making his job difficult…
